Is there an extra charge for Call Features, in addition to my monthly subscription fee?
No. All features listed under BROADBAND CALL FEATURES are available free of charge for all subscription plans, among which are CALL ID, VOICE MAIL, CALL WAITING, CONFERENCE CALL and CALL FORWARD.
Is the availability of features dependent on the VoIP phone terminal used?
Yes. The specific VoIP terminal(s) has dedicated features, which may vary from one phone terminal to the next. Each VoIP terminal has its own description of features. When there is no mention of any specific VoIP phone terminal, the feature works on all VoIP phone devices.
What's the difference between Call Transfer and Call Forward All?
CALL TRANSFER is used while you are on an actual call and you wish to initiate a new call to a third person. When the new call is set up to the third person, you will be disconnected, leaving the other two parties speaking to each other.
CALL FORWARD is used when you decide to transfer all new incoming calls to one specific number.
I find Call ID very useful. However, there are times when I wish to appear anonymous to the called party. Is that possible?
Yes, that's possible. The feature: SELECTIVE CALL ID BLOCK, allows you to block your CALL ID on a per-call basis. To do so, just dial *81, wait for the second tone, then dial the number to call.
For that particular call, your CALL ID will not be displayed on the called phone terminal.
